    Dani Epling, group ex instructor

RD, LDN, RYT - Yoga Instructor and Registered Dietician.

“My name’s Dani, born and raised in Forest, I’m a registered dietitian and 200-hour certified yoga instructor with 5 years of experience teaching and 13 years of practice on my mat. In a way, I’m still trying to pinpoint my passion – nutrition or exercise? As a dietitian, I’ve found that many of our issues around food are directly related to stress and emotions. Yoga offers a way for us to heal these issues and build a positive relationship with ourselves and our bodies. Through my lighthearted approach to teaching, I aim for everyone to feel at home in my classes as well as in their own bodies. I love to combine sweaty power flows with soothing restorative poses. In this way, my classes mirror real life and better prepare you to tackle obstacles off the mat with strength and poise. “Ut prosim” translates to “that I may serve”, which is the reason that I teach. As a fourth-generation Virginia Tech graduate, I will always strive to live out this motto and serve my community by sharing my love for yoga and health.”
